Irma Taavitsainen

Irma Taavitsainen is a Finnish scholar of English philology and historical linguistics, known for her work on historical pragmatics, corpus linguistics, and the language of medicine. She is a professor at the University of Helsinki and has co-authored and co-edited several influential books and corpora on medical texts and historical English.
