Ingersoll Lockwood
Ingersoll Lockwood (1841–1918) was an American lawyer, diplomat, and writer known for his children's fantasy novels such as the Baron Trump series (1889–1893) and the dystopian political satire 1900: Or, The Last President (1896).[1][2] Born in Ossining, New York, to a prominent legal family, he also wrote non-fiction under the pseudonym Irwin Longman and served briefly as a diplomat.[1][6]
