Ifeoma Onyefulu
Ifeoma Onyefulu is a Nigerian children's author, photographer, and writer born in 1959 in Onitsha, Nigeria, and raised in a traditional village.[1][2][3] She moved to Britain in 1982 after marrying, trained as a photographer, and began writing picture books in 1991 that celebrate African village life through her own photographs.[1][2][6] Her acclaimed works, such as 'A Is for Africa' and award-winners like 'Here Comes Our Bride!', introduce English-speaking audiences to Igbo culture and counter negative stereotypes of Africa.[1][2][3]
