Ibrahim M. Abu-Rabi

Ibrahim M. Abu-Rabi (1956–2011) was a Palestinian-born professor of Islamic Studies at the University of Alberta, known for his work bridging Muslim and Christian communities and for his scholarship on Middle Eastern history and interfaith relations. He served as the first Chair of the Edmonton Council of Muslim Communities in Islamic Studies and was a respected academic specializing in Islamic thought, religious studies, and comparative religion.
