Ian Ross

Ian James Ross is a British historical fiction author best known for his 'Twilight of Empire' series, six novels set in the early 4th century AD during the era of Emperor Constantine, beginning with 'War at the Edge of the World' in 2015 and concluding with 'Triumph in Dust' in 2019. Born in England, he studied painting before turning to writing and has travelled widely, including time in Italy. His works have been published in the UK, USA, Australia, Spain, and Italy, with a forthcoming medieval trilogy starting with 'Battle Song' in 2023.
