Ian Niall

Ian Niall, born John Kincaid McNeillie (1916–2002), was a Scottish writer from Galloway known for his rural and nature writing. He published over forty books under both names, including Wigtown Ploughman (1939), The Poacher’s Handbook (1950), and A Galloway Childhood (1967), and contributed a long-running column to Country Life.[1][2][3]
