Ian Kershaw
Sir Ian Kershaw is an English historian born in 1943 who is regarded as one of the world's foremost experts on Nazi Germany and 20th-century German social history. He is particularly noted for his acclaimed two-volume biography of Adolf Hitler and has served as a historical adviser on numerous BBC documentaries. Kershaw was knighted in 2002 for services to history and held professorships at the universities of Manchester, Nottingham, and Sheffield.
