Ian Fleming
Ian Lancaster Fleming (1908–1964) was a British writer best known for creating the James Bond series of spy novels, starting with Casino Royale in 1953. Born into a wealthy family, he worked in journalism, banking, and naval intelligence during World War II before turning to writing at age 44. He authored twelve Bond novels and two short story collections, which became immensely popular.
