I. Edward Alcamo, Ph.D., was a professor of biology at the State University of New York at Farmingdale, where he taught at the college level for over thirty years, specializing in biology for health science students.[1][2] He was honored for excellence in teaching by both the State University of New York and the National Association of Biology Teachers.[1]
