Hymie Nossel

Hymie Louis Nossel was a prominent hematologist born in Cape Town, South Africa, educated at Wynberg Boys' High School and the University of Cape Town.[2] He later worked at the Department of Medicine, Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York, USA, contributing significantly to thrombosis research as a past council leader of the International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH).[1][3]
