Humberto Nagera

Humberto Nágera (1927–2016) was a Cuban-born child psychiatrist and psychoanalyst who graduated from the University of Havana Medical School in 1952 and later became an associate of Anna Freud at the Hampstead Clinic[1][2]. He was a world-renowned psychoanalyst who served as the Director of The Carter-Jenkins Center and authored works on basic psychoanalytic concepts, including the theory of dreams[2][3][4]. Nágera died peacefully on November 7, 2016, in Tampa, Florida, at the age of 89[3].
