Horst Siebert

Horst Siebert (1938–2009) was a German economist and author known for his work on economic policy, European integration, and the German economy. He studied in Cologne and at Wesleyan University, earned his doctorate and habilitation at the University of Münster, and later held professorships in Mannheim and Constance before becoming president of the Kiel Institute for the World Economy.
