Horst Hamann
Horst Hamann, born in Mannheim, Germany in 1958, is a self-taught photographer renowned for inventing vertical photography and capturing urban landscapes, particularly of New York City, where he has spent much of his professional life alongside time in Maine.[1][2][3] He has authored over 40 photo books, including the bestseller 'New York Vertical' with over 300,000 copies sold, and his work is featured in major collections worldwide with notable exhibitions like a six-month solo show at the Museum of the City of New York.[1][3][5]
