Denise Holly Hobbie (née Ulinskas), born in 1944, is an American writer, watercolorist, and illustrator best known for creating the Holly Hobbie character for American Greetings, originally unnamed and now bearing her name. She also authored the popular Toot & Puddle series of children's books.[1]
