Holly Hobbie
Holly Hobbie is an American painter, illustrator, and author born in 1942. She gained worldwide recognition after selling a drawing of a little girl in a homespun dress and blue bonnet to American Greetings in 1967, which became the basis for the iconic Holly Hobbie character. She has authored and illustrated numerous children's books, including the acclaimed Toot & Puddle series, and has worked as an artist for over forty years.
