Hilary Putnam

Hilary Putnam was an American philosopher, mathematician, and computer scientist whose work shaped analytic philosophy in the 20th century. He made major contributions to the philosophy of mind, language, science, mathematics, and logic, and is especially known for semantic externalism and his defense of realism.[1][2]
