Hikaru Noguchi

Hikaru Noguchi is a Japanese textile designer and author who moved to England in 1989 to study constructed textiles, specializing in knit design after earning a degree in graphic design from Musashino Art University in Tokyo. She has designed for numerous British and international labels including Tom Dixon, Top Shop, Paul Smith, and Barneys, and is recognized as a darning expert. Noguchi has authored several books on textile repair and mending, available in both Japanese and English.
