Herbert M. Baus
Herbert M. Baus was an American author and political campaign manager born in Indianapolis in 1914. He worked as an editor for magazines including Good Housekeeping, Life, McCall's, and Redbook, and later became known for books on crossword puzzles, wine, and restaurants. He also played a major role in Richard Nixon's 1960 California victory and later publicly urged Nixon to resign.
