Henry Youle 1823-1908 Hind

Henry Youle Hind was a British-Canadian geologist and explorer who led significant expeditions to the Canadian West, including the Red River and Saskatchewan regions. His detailed reports on the land and resources influenced settlement and railway expansion in Canada. He later served as a professor at King's College in Windsor, Nova Scotia.
