Henry Krieger

Henry Krieger is an American musical theatre composer born on February 9, 1945, in New York City. He is best known for writing the music for the Broadway shows Dreamgirls (1981), The Tap Dance Kid (1983), and Side Show (1997). He began composing for Off-Off-Broadway in his twenties and has earned Tony Award nominations for Dreamgirls.[1][2][3][6]
