Henrik Ibsen

Henrik Ibsen was a major Norwegian playwright of the late 19th century who pioneered theatrical realism and is often called the father of modern drama.[1][2] He introduced realistic contemporary plays that exposed social and moral conflicts, challenging theatrical conventions of his time.[3][5] In 2014, he was considered the most frequently performed dramatist in the world after Shakespeare.[2]
