Henriëtte Hendriks
Professor Henriëtte Hendriks is a linguist specializing in language acquisition and cognition at the University of Cambridge, where she serves as Head of the Department of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics. She studied Sinology at Leiden University and began her career at the Max-Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics, researching the interactions between culture, cognition, language learning, and cognitive linguistics through child first and adult second language acquisition. Currently, she is Principal Investigator and Deputy Director of the Centre for Lifelong Learning and Individualised Cognition (CLIC).
