Helene Wecker

Helene Wecker is an American writer born in September 1975, best known for her Mythopoeic Award-winning historical fantasy novel The Golem and the Jinni and its sequel The Hidden Palace. A Midwest native with a B.A. in English from Carleton College and an M.F.A. in Fiction Writing from Columbia University, she currently lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
