Helen McCullough

Helen Craig McCullough (1918–1998) was an American academic, translator, and Japanologist best known for her 1988 translation of The Tale of the Heike. She specialized in classical Japanese prose and poetry and held professorships at the University of California, Berkeley and Stanford University.
