Helen Kooiman Hosier

Helen Kooiman Hosier (1939–1997) was a South African documentary and art photographer, author, and humanitarian who documented Johannesburg's disappearing past and wrote '100 Christian Women Who Changed the Twentieth Century.' Born to immigrant German Jewish parents, she traveled widely, wrote essays and op-ed pieces, and remained active in humanitarian causes until her death in Madison, Connecticut, where she had lived for six decades.
