Helen FitzGerald
Helen FitzGerald is an Australian novelist and screenwriter, born in 1966 as the second youngest of thirteen children in Kilmore, Victoria, Australia. She studied English and History at the University of Melbourne, earned a Masters in Social Work at Glasgow University, and worked for over ten years as a criminal justice social worker, including at Barlinnie Prison. Her debut novel Dead Lovely was published in 2007, followed by thrillers like The Cry (2013), which was adapted into a BBC series, and she now lives in Glasgow with her husband and two children.[1][2][3][4]
