Heather Love
Heather Love is an Associate Professor of English and Gender Studies at the University of Pennsylvania, specializing in queer theory, gender and sexuality studies, and twentieth-century literature and culture. She is the author of Feeling Backward: Loss and the Politics of Queer History (Harvard University Press) and Underdogs: Social Deviance and Queer Theory (University of Chicago Press), and has written extensively on topics including comparative social stigma, spinster aesthetics, disability studies, and reading methods in literary studies. She is a Guggenheim Fellow and has won several teaching awards.
