Heather Lehr Wagner
Heather Lehr Wagner is a writer, editor, and book architect with over 20 years of experience in publishing, known for authoring more than 40 nonfiction books for middle school and high school readers on historical, political, and social issues[3][5]. She has written biographies of explorers, global leaders, and activists, as well as series explaining how the U.S. government works, and has contributed to bestselling books for Forbes Books and Advantage Media[3][1]. Wagner earned a B.A. in political science from Duke University and an M.A. in government from the College of William and Mary[5].
