Haym Benaroya

Haym Benaroya is a Distinguished Professor of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Rutgers University, where he has served since 2004. His research focuses on dynamics and vibration, including probabilistic modeling, with applications to structures in extreme environments such as offshore, aerospace, and space structures. He earned his Ph.D. in Structures, Mechanics, and Probabilistic Methods from the University of Pennsylvania in 1981, along with an M.S.E. in 1977 and a B.E.C.E. in Civil Engineering from The Cooper Union in 1976.
