Harry V. Roberts

Harry V. Roberts was the Sigmund E. Edelstone Professor Emeritus of Statistics and Quality Management at the University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business, where he joined the faculty in 1949. A pioneer in applying Bayesian statistics, he authored influential texts including 'Statistics: A New Approach' (1956) and demonstrated the practical application of statistical analysis across finance, marketing, quality management, and other fields throughout his distinguished career.
