Harry Mazer
Harry Mazer (May 31, 1925 – April 7, 2016) was an American author best known for realistic novels for children and young adults. Born in New York City, he wrote more than twenty novels, including works such as *Snow Bound*, *The Island Keeper*, and *A Boy at War*, and many of his books drew on his World War II experiences.[1][3][8]
