Harry Homewood
Harry Homewood was a qualified U.S. submariner who served eleven war patrols in the Southwest Pacific before becoming a prominent journalist and author. He worked as Chicago Bureau Chief for Newsweek, chief editorial writer for the Chicago Sun-Times, and hosted a weekly news program syndicated to 43 PBS stations. Homewood wrote six books, including Final Harbor, and lived in Tucson, Arizona with his wife until his death in 1984.
