Hans von Storch

Hans von Storch is a German climate scientist, meteorologist, and mathematician born on August 13, 1949, in Wyk auf Föhr. He served as Professor at the University of Hamburg's Meteorological Institute until 2015 and Director of the Institute for Coastal Research at the Helmholtz-Zentrum Geesthacht. He contributed to IPCC reports, collaborated with Klaus Hasselmann, published 27 books and over 240 peer-reviewed articles, and currently works as Editor-in-Chief for Oxford University Press Research Encyclopedia Climate Science and as a guest professor in China.[1][2][3][4][5]
