Hans Schwerdtfeger
Hans Wilhelm Eduard Schwerdtfeger was a German-Canadian-Australian mathematician born in Göttingen who made significant contributions to Galois theory, matrix theory, group theory, and complex analysis.[1][3] He published his first major text for beginning graduate students in 1950 and spent much of his career in Adelaide, Australia.[3]
