Hans-Peter Wipplinger

Hans-Peter Wipplinger is an Austrian art historian, exhibition curator, author, and museum director born on January 12, 1968, in Schärding, Upper Austria. He studied art history, theater science, journalism, and communication science at the University of Vienna, and held positions at the OK Centre for Contemporary Art in Linz, the New Museum of Contemporary Art in New York, and the Vienna International Film Festival. Since 2015, he has served as the artistic director of the Leopold Museum in Vienna, previously directing the Museum of Modern Art Passau and Kunsthalle Krems.[1][2][3][4][5]
