Hans Otto Meissner

Hans-Otto Meissner (1909-1992) was a German diplomat, lawyer, and prolific writer known for his travel books, political-historical novels, and youth literature, including successful works like 'Der Fall Sorge' and 'Das Wunder der aufgehenden Sonne'. Son of Otto Meissner, a high-ranking official in the Weimar Republic and Third Reich, he studied law and economics at universities including Heidelberg and Cambridge, passed his diplomatic exams, and served in German embassies in London, Tokyo, Moscow, and Milan.[1][2][5]
