Hans Jacob Goebeler

Hans Jacob Goebeler was a German submarine crewman who served aboard the U-505 during World War II and was captured when the submarine was seized in 1944. After the war, he later moved to the Chicago area and became known for giving informal tours and sharing his experiences aboard the U-505.
