Hannah W. Smith

Hannah Whitall Smith (1832–1911) was an American evangelical author, lay speaker, religious reformer, and social activist associated with the Holiness and Higher Life movements. She is best known for *The Christian’s Secret of a Happy Life*, a devotional classic that became widely read in the English-speaking Protestant world.[1][3]
