Hamid R. Arabnia
Hamid R. Arabnia is a Professor Emeritus of Computer Science at the University of Georgia, where he has served since 1987. He earned his B.Sc. from the University of Glamorgan, U.K. in 1983, and Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Kent, England in 1987. His research focuses on parallel and distributed processing, supercomputing, big data, and applications in image processing, medical imaging, and bioinformatics; he has been editor-in-chief of The Journal of Supercomputing since 1997.
