Hall Caine

Hall Caine (Sir Thomas Henry Hall Caine) was a British novelist and dramatist born in 1853, best known for popular late Victorian and Edwardian-era works that blended romance, moral seriousness, and vivid local atmosphere. He was widely read in his lifetime and also wrote about social and political issues of his day.
