Hal R Varian

Hal R. Varian is an American economist known for his work in microeconomics and information economics. He is the Chief Economist at Google and an emeritus professor at the University of California, Berkeley, where he served as founding dean of the School of Information. He has also authored major economics textbooks and co-wrote the business strategy book "Information Rules."
