Hajime Isayama

Hajime Isayama is a Japanese manga artist best known for his debut series Attack on Titan (2009–2021), which became one of the best-selling manga series of all time with over 140 million copies in circulation. Born in Ōyama, Ōita, Japan, he graduated from high school and studied cartoon design at Kyushu Designer Gakuin before moving to Tokyo to pursue his career. His work has earned prestigious awards including the Kodansha Manga Award in 2011.
