H. Ward Silver
H. Ward Silver is an electrical engineer with a BSEE from the University of Missouri–Rolla in 1978, who spent 20 years developing instrumentation and medical electronics before transitioning to teaching and writing in 2000. He is a prominent author in amateur radio, including 'Ham Radio for Dummies,' study guides for ARRL licenses, and editor of the ARRL Handbook for Radio Communications, while contributing the 'Hands-On Radio' column to QST magazine. Known in the ham radio community as N0AX, he has developed online courses on antenna design, analog electronics, and digital electronics, and is a popular speaker.
