H V Morton

H. V. Morton was the pen name of Henry Canova Vollam Morton (1892–1979), a British journalist and pioneering travel writer from Lancashire, England. He became widely known for books about London, Great Britain, the Holy Land, and other travels, and first gained fame in 1923 reporting on the opening of Tutankhamun’s tomb for the Daily Express.
