H. Leigh Davis

H. Leigh Davis appears to be a mistaken reference to **H. L. Davis** (Harold Lenoir Davis), an American novelist, short-story writer, and poet from Oregon. He is best known for *Honey in the Horn*, which won the Pulitzer Prize, and for fiction that portrayed the American West in a realistic, unsentimental way.[1][4]
