Günther Förg
Günther Förg (1952–2013) was a German painter, photographer, graphic artist, and sculptor known for his versatile practice spanning abstraction, monochrome paintings, large-format photographs of architecture, and lead sculptures. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Munich from 1973 to 1979, taught at institutions in Karlsruhe and Berlin, and explored conceptualism influenced by American abstract painting and German modernism.[1][4][2]
