Guido van Genechten
Guido van Genechten, born in 1957 in Mol, Belgium, is a Belgian author and illustrator of children's books known for series featuring characters like Rikki the rabbit.[1][2] He studied drawing, painting, graphics, photography, and typography at the Academy of Fine Arts in Mol, worked in the graphic industry, and began his publishing career about ten years before winning awards such as the International Illustrator's Award of the City of Hasselt in the early 2000s and the Reader's Digest Award for Best Children's Book Illustrator in 2007.[2][4]
