Guido Tonelli

Guido Tonelli is an Italian particle physicist born in 1950, renowned for his key role in the discovery of the Higgs boson at CERN's Large Hadron Collider, which contributed to the 2013 Nobel Prize in Physics for François Englert and Peter Higgs. He served as spokesperson for the CMS experiment and is a professor of general physics at the University of Pisa.[1][2][6]
