Grisham John

John Grisham is an American author, attorney, and former politician renowned for his bestselling legal thrillers, including A Time to Kill, The Firm, and The Pelican Brief, which have sold over 300 million copies worldwide. Inspired by a harrowing rape trial he witnessed in 1984 while practicing law in Mississippi, he wrote his debut novel A Time to Kill before achieving massive success with The Firm, after which he left his legal career to write full-time. Grisham is also an advocate for criminal justice reform, serving on the board of the Innocence Project and opposing capital punishment.
