Griffin Dunne
Thomas Griffin Dunne, born June 8, 1955, is an American actor, producer, director, and author known for his work in film and television, including producing and acting in *After Hours*, directing *Practical Magic*, and the documentary *The Center Will Not Hold* about his aunt Joan Didion. He has received nominations for an Academy Award, Golden Globe, and Primetime Emmy. Dunne authored the acclaimed memoir *The Friday Afternoon Club: A Family Memoir* in 2024, named Best Book of the Year by TIME, NPR, and others.
